RELATIONSHIP ROCKET

Our relationship rocket officially launched nearly 40 years ago in a small country church on the Canadian prairies, and what a ride it has been! Over the years, our journey together has taken us to places we never could have imagined. Like most married couples, we've experienced exhilarating highs and challenging lows—soaring at times and sputtering at others. We've occasionally found ourselves orbiting the same issues, even pulled apart by strong gravitational forces.

Yet, along the way, our lives and family have flourished. We've been blessed with three amazing daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law, and a grandbaby who is the brightest star in our expanding universe. In seasons where we felt adrift, running low on fuel and spark, we discovered practical ways to reignite our love and renew our connection.

For the past 30 years, we've had the incredible privilege of pastoring Riverwood Church Community in Winnipeg. Todd continues to serve as the founding and lead pastor, while Carolyn pastors in the areas of marriage and care. Our passion for helping couples thrive inspired us to launch The Relationship Rocket—a whole-family-led initiative designed to help couples refuel and reignite their marriages. Through practical, actionable steps, we aim to empower couples to strengthen their relationships and rediscover the joy of their journey together.
